New NPZ100-403 Piezo Stage from nPoint Inc.

The NPXY100-403 piezo stage is the newest addition to nPoint’s  nanopositioning lineup.  This stage is designed for applications where high speed is necessary while carrying heavier loads.

The NPZ100-403 nanopositioner is a piezo driven, flexure guided stage, designed for high speed and nanometer precision. Having a position noise of 0.5nm with capacitive sensors and 3nm with strain gauges, this system provides the accuracy necessary for today’s advanced applications.  This piezo stage can be paired with the LC.400 series DSP controllers for closed-loop capability. It has a travel of 100µm in the Z axis and can also be used in X and Y configurations. A resonant frequency of 1000Hz allows for fast scanning and settling times less than 3 milliseconds. The stage has high stiffness for greater resonant frequencies, even with heavy loads. This nanopositioner can be configured to hold many optics and samples, including large microscope objectives.

As the latest addition to nPoint’s piezo stage offering, the NPZ100-403 can be used in a variety of areas including research, manufacturing, and as an OEM system component.

New Objective Focusing Nanopositioner from nPoint

The nPFocus1000 is the latest addition to nPoint’s  nanopositioning lineup.  This new piezo stage is designed to position an objective lens over 1000 µm with speed and accuracy.

The nPFocus1000 nanopositioner is a piezo-driven, flexure-guided stage, designed for high speed and nanometer precision. With a position noise of 5 nm in the Z axis, this stage provides the accuracy necessary for today’s advanced optics applications.  When paired with the LC.400 series DSP controllers, the system provides closed-loop capability via capacitive sensors.  The nPFocus1000 has a travel of 1000 µm in the Z axis allowing for deeper cross sections and scanning thicker features. It can be used in many configurations, including standard upright and inverted microscopes. The stage is designed to be used with many commercially available objective lenses creating a great deal of flexibility for incorporation into optics and nanotechnology systems. 

As the latest addition to nPoint’s piezo stage offering, the nPFocus1000 can be used in a variety of areas including research, manufacturing, and as an OEM system component.

Two New Piezo Stages from nPoint

The NPXY60-258 and the NPXY60Z20-257 piezo stages are the latest additions to nPoint’s  nanopositioning lineup.  These stages are designed for advanced research markets in need of UHV and non-magnetic positioning.

Middleton, WI – May 14, 2014 - The NPXY60-258 and NPXY60Z20-257 nanopositioners are piezo driven, flexure guided stages, designed for high speed and nanometer precision. With a position noise of 0.4nm in X and Y axis and 0.2nm in the Z, both stages provide the accuracy necessary for today’s advanced applications.  When paired with the LC.400 series DSP controllers, the system provides closed-loop capability via capacitive sensors.  Both stages have a travel of 60µm in both the X and Y axis and there is an optional Z with 20µm stroke. The aperture (30mm in diameter), creates a great deal of flexibility for incorporation in optics and nanotechnology systems.  A resonant frequency of 750Hz in XY and 2000Hz in Z, allows for fast scanning and settling times less than 5 milliseconds. Both stages are designed to be UHV compatible and have non-magnetic properties, allowing researchers to test under specialized conditions.

As the latest addition to nPoint’s piezo stage offering, the NPXY60-258 and NPXY60Z20-257 can be used in a variety of areas including research, manufacturing, and as an OEM system component.

The NPXY200-401 nanopositioner is the latest addition to nPoint’s piezo stage lineup.  This new stage is designed for advanced research and OEM markets where speed, precision, and flexibility are required.

Middleton, WI – March 25,2014 - The NPXY200-401 nanopositioning stage from nPoint is a piezo driven, flexure guided stage, designed for high speed and nanometer precision. The stage has a large aperture (68mm X 68mm) yet is very thin (17mm).  With a position noise of 0.7nm the NPXY200-401 provides the accuracy necessary for today’s advanced applications.  When paired with the LC.402 DSP controller, the system provides closed-loop capability via capacitive sensors.  The NPXY200-401 has travel of 200µm in both the X and Y axis and with the large aperture, creates a great deal of flexibility for incorporation in optics and nanotechnology systems.  A resonant frequency of 500Hz allows for fast scanning and settling times less than 8ms.

The NPXY300-291 nanopositioner is the latest addition to nPoint's piezo stage lineup.  This new stage is designed for advanced research and OEM markets where speed, precision, and flexibility are paramount.

Middleton, WI - November 19, 2013 - The NPXY300-291 nanopositioning stage from nPoint is a piezo driven, flexure guided stage, designed for high speed and nanometer precision. The stage has a large aperture (85mm X 95mm) yet is very thin. (23mm). With a position noise of 1nm the NPXY300-291 provides the accuracy necessary for today's advanced applications. When paired with the LC.402 DSP controller, the system provides closed-loop capability via capacitive sensors. The NPXY300-291 has travel of 300um in both the X and Y axis and with the large aperture, creates a great deal of flexibility for incorporation into optics and nanotechnology systems. A resonant frequency of 240Hz allows for scanning of up to 24Hz and settling times less than 20ms.

The NPXY50-286 nanopositioner is the latest addition to nPoint's piezo stage lineup. This new stage is designed for high specification research and OEM markets where its small size, fast speed, and high resolution are ideal.

The NPXY50-286 nanopositioning stage from nPoint is a piezo driven, flexure guided stage, designed for high speed and sub nanometer precision. The stage has a relatively small footprint (60mm X 60mm X 25mm) for space constrained areas.  With a position noise of 0.2nm the NPXY50-286 provides the accuracy necessary for today's advanced applications. When paired with the LC.402 DSP controller, the system provides closed-loop capability via capacitive sensors. The NPXY50-386 has travel of 50µm in both the X and Y axis and is fitted with a 20mm aperture creating a great deal of flexibility for incorporation in optics and nanotechnology systems. A resonant frequency of 1400Hz allows for scanning at high speed and settling times less than 4ms.

New Tip/Tilt Piezo Stage

A new tip tilt piezo stage with a 3mrad range of motion in each axis, the RXY3-276 is designed for applications where positioning speed and resolution are paramount.
 
Combined with the LC.402 nanopositioning controller the stage provides closed-loop control and position noise of less than 0.2urad.  This system is optimized for mirrors up to 3 inches in diameter.
